My four year-old son discovered the label maker. Our front door is labeled “HOUSE” now.
This mix is way too long but I haven’t been able to figure out what to trim. I’m in love with the chorus of the Julia Jacklin song “Lydia Wears a Cross”:
I’d be a believer if it was all just song and dance.
It makes me think of my friend who attends an Anglican church she loves like the theater. The weird “yrstrly” by some bands I’ve never heard of is the best summer driving (or biking? or bathroom cleaning?) jam in the world. The subdued country-gospel backing vocals of “snake” are gorgeous. And then the mix ends with a collaboration between Daryl Hall and Robert Fripp (!).
Hooboy, happy summer! Enjoy!
