I’m returning to regular posting mixes after the brief interruption last month. Eitzel’s voice and lyrics are as powerful as ever, but we move on. Or, we stumble on. I’m still in a heck of a music rut, but here are twenty-three songs for your enjoyment.

What the hell else is happening in life? War, cruelty, the continued dismantling of democracy in favor of autocratic strongmen. Morons rule the world. Autumn has finally showed up here in the plains, lovely to see but disconcerting when the leaves are falling in January. I’ve got a story coming out in a great online journal soon but otherwise have been in a writing rut, unable to get that knee-capping voice out of my head when I write down a thought. My Nebraska writing group resurrected things for me last weekend so we’ll see where that leads.

Anyway, as the mighty Eagles put it, I wish you peace.*
